Thomas - why don't cheetahs play cards? because there are too many cheetahs

Nightingale Ward


Amy - Florence Nightingale cleaned the hospital, we got rid of the rats and decorated the hospital

Ruby - we dressed up in nurses cotumes


Thomas - the boys had soldier costumes

Hospitals

The old hospitals had no heating but Florence brought a stove to keep the patients warm, she also got more beds and cleaned up the hospital.

Florence Nightingale


We have started a new topic all about Florence Nightingale.
Adam - she is sometimes called the lady with the lamp.
Kaylah - she wears a gown.
Connor - she cleaned up the hospital.
Isobel - she was a good nurse.
Firas - she was good at maths.
Abbie - she had a sister.
Sammy - she lived in a big house.
Olivia - she was from a rich family.
Thomas - she died in 1910, aged 91.

Melting Icebergs

We tested ice cubes in bowls of water of differernt temperatures and this is what happened:

hot water - the ice melted quickly

warm water - the ice melted more slowly

cold water - the ice melted very slowly
